Here're some pics of my recent model, which is 98% built and ready to hit a shelf - I still have to put another layer of satin coat, add a small antena on 190-a4 fuselage belly.
The kit is Tamiya's 1/48 Fw-190A-3 with some minor scratchbuilding and some Czech manufacturer decals (excluding swastika decals and fuselage on upperside wing balkenkreuz - those were masked and airbrushed).
Frankly speaking, I'm little bit fed with the model
Anyway, here're the pics:

Great job on this one. I guess this was the one you told me about.
Did you mask and paint those swastikas? In that case they look very good.
Thanks for sharing

Hi, Jesper!
No, the one I was telling you about was tamiya's 1/48 FW-190A-8 Sturmbock. Which is in the progress now.
Pics of the model above show early 190's (A-4) that I frankly speaking don't like very much. But I tried some new techniques on this one - scratchbuilding tail tip, scratchbuilding (or I would call it immitating) chute ejection mechanism on the wings and masking+airbrushing national insignia.
I've already heard that the model is overweathered... which is actually true. At least as I know some people like clean models, some weathered.

I wouldn't worry about those overweathering comments. It looks very nice!

Same here! I believe I belong to the category who thinks the weathering is just fine.

Thanx, guys!
The reason I feel fed up with the model is that I don't like the subject much - I like late 190As more - actually Sturmjager is my favourite. I had started the build as I wanted to try new techniques and tricks. Most of all I wanted to practice my scratchbuilding and masking skills on this particular model. I just feel that I have to finish this one and place it on the shelf or may be even give it to someone's model collection.
Anyway, thanx everyone again for comments!

And I thought I was tough on my own work. Like the others, I really like the weathering. And everything else about your 190. Especially the markings.

Guys, thanx for your kind words!
The model now rests on the shelf
Neil, the exhaust stains were all airbrushed with addition of pastel chalks powder in some place. Glad you liked it.
Now I shall dive into Sturmjager building process
