Dave, it looks great. I really like the panel details.
Do you have your own cockpit references or are there any on the web. I too am building the Apache - Monograms, and could use some good pics of the interior.

Hi Ken, thanks for the encouragement.
How is the Monogram Apache, the Italeri one is horrible.
The reference I am using is from www.aircraftresoruces.com, mind you, mine panel layout is definitely not correct, most Apache has grey dials, and the display is normally green tinted. I found it to be a bit boring...hence the multi color one....
HTH.

I have both of Monograms, the 1/32nd which I'm doing now and the 1/48th with Verlindens update set which I'll do at a later date when I have more references and experiance with these whirly birds.
Monograms 1/32nd is not too bad. Lots of cleaning of flash and seams. Some parts are a little warped, though not too bad again. I must admit I do like this build. It's definetly different from tracked vehicles, and at the same time is making my wife very happy as she has been after me to build one for quite some time now.
Keep us posted as you progress Dave, as I will be looking on as you go.

You'll need to clean up those seems!
I have done the Monogram one, and I agree with Ken, it is a clean build, but needs a lot of attention to detail, and it is quite impressive when done. I never did any scratchbuilding back when I did wingy thingies, but that is the perfect candidate for a lot of scratchbuilt detail.

Better lay off on the coffee and damsels in distress Dave. Your hands are so shaky you can thoroughly mix a jar of paint just by picking it up #:-)
Great pictures! Did you use an overhead light source? Flash this close to the subject will drown out the details. Try taking your pics at least 4 feet away from the subject and use the zoom function so the pics will not come out too blurry
Keep up the good work! With your skills and attention to detail this piece of poo poo can turn out to be a winner

Dave! It looks great! Will you build one for me? That will be a grand chopper when all done!

Brother Hong Kong Connection:
This LongBow is coming along nicely. Your usual great work on the cockpit dials is again evident here. As Ken mentioned great looking panel lines.
This is good stuff (like all the stuff you do).
Thanks for keeping us updated on this model.
Steve:
ps: Good to see you using your favorite color again!!!!!

Great work on the cockpit! This has come up really well. Im getting more and more tempted to try something like this all the time. Seems to be the in-thing now to do some flying thingys! Good luck with the rest!

cockpit details are great .if you need a medical support to finish it quicker, Ministry of health of DSB is in your service.
