First off who makes the nicest Henschel 123 kit in 1/48 and secondly Does anybody make the Fiat Gina in 1/48 with recessed panel lines?

Hi
the best 1/48 Hs 129 is from Hasegawa, which was also reboxed by Revell Germany (which was thus cheaper here in Europe). there is a lot of AM stuff available for this model. The very old Esci kit is not bad, but has raised panel lines.
I think the only Gina available is from Heller(Occidental? maybe reboxed by some other companies). Meanwhile there is some AM stuff available which mainly fills the empty pit. You have the NeOmega cockpit and a larger set from an Italian manufacturer ... (Forgot the name)
HTH
cheers

If you were after an Hs 123 (the little biplane with the big feet) but not an Hs 129, I believe all the 1/48 kits are effectively clones of the old Esci job. It comes in Italeri, Revell, AMTech, and even Tamiya flavours. AMTech's has the most gubbins - PE, etc - but the price goes up to match.

Doh
of course, the 1-2-3 all are ESCI. AMTech being the most "complete", Tamiya the least value for money (IMHO).
There are two nice PE sets from EXTRAtech and I hope there will be a cowling from Quickboost one day. To correct the wing, see drawings here:

Italeri and Heller both make a Fiat G.91 in 1/48th scale.
The Italeri kit is a rebox of the old ESCI kit and has raised panel lines.
The Heller/Ocidental kit is almost identical in terms of parts breakdown but has recessed panel lines.
Neither kit has very much in the way of detail. Detail of the Heller kit is a bit crude in places. The Heller kit has a better seat but is missing the vortex generators on the tail. Both kits would benefit from AM detail sets, especially in the cockpit.
Mondo Redotto/Small World Accessories offer a detail set for the Heller/Ocidental kit (should fit the Italeri kit too). I assume this is the Italian manufacturer Steffen was referring to. (Thanks, Steffen, for pointing out that NeOmega also does a detail set!)
Three months ago I wasn't planning on building a G.91. Now I have 3 kits (2 Heller, 1 Italeri)
