Hi Friends ,DoYou know if Junkers W34 FLOATPLANE saw some action during WWII ,or just was a trainer or prototype?

It depends what you mean by action. I've got references to the W.34 being in the inventory of several Seenotstaffeln, but I haven't come across a pic yet to prove they were floatplanes. I presume they were... always dodgy, I know!

Thanks Rowan ,I mean "action" if was operational to a some transport or recc.squadron . Marks on this W34 floatplane indicates PE+AS, maybe a Luftwaffe expert could help a little more .

Hi again

That looks like a Stammkennzeichen code, applied at the factory as a delivery code and retained on some transport and second-line aircraft. It doesn't help much in pinpointing a unit - there's no "PE+##" in the Luftwaffe's four-character military code system, but I'll keep my eyes open.
