Hey all, again, I come to the experts (and again, my apologies if this is in the wrong spot... ).

I would like to know if anyone out there in manufacturing-land makes a 1/76 or smaller version (I need 'em for a friend when they do their 15mm WWII War-gaming) of the Luftwaffe's WWII JU 52 transport plane, the DFS 230 Glider (with dorsal gunner) or the American Waco glider? I'm pretty sure the normal transition in scale aircraft (excluding larger sizes) is 1/72 then to 1/144 (yea, I could be off....armor guy ya know). 1/72 is large for 15mm and 1/144 is small.....regardless, IF there's something out there, it'll be a start.

I've searched some of the normal "internet companys" and found the 1/72nd JU...but nothing for the others. Any ideas or hints?

There is a DFS 230 Glider from HUMA and a American Waco glider CG-4 from Testors / Italeri, unfortunately they are both in 1/72 scale
Both may take a little searching to find but they are out there.

As they are for war-gaming, have you considered card models? I seem to recall seeing a Waco glider that could be down loaded. Unfortunately I don't remember the addy and didn't bookmark it. This may not help, but Roco Minitanks did a 1/87 scale DC3/C47, though I'm not sure if its still available or if they did any other aircraft.


Edit Found this site, http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/index.php?pg=order&cat=wwii It has the Ju52, DFS230 and Waco listed but no scale is given. As they are card kits it may be possable to scan/photocopy them to a suitable size.
