Do you wash airplanes? and if so...

hehehe I had a great wise-ass comment ready, but since you are new I won't unleash the screwballs around here on you.

I don't do much airplane washing. I prefer to build the planes very lightly weathered. Only a flight or 3 into their life. I use a light dusting of pastels mostly to highlight the panel lines.

Yes looks nice, I will try that one later, on your pic it should look great after you wipe it off, and Im sure that airplanes dont require the same amount of wash as an AFV scale model

:-) Yep the wash was wiped off, that pic is just to show what the wash looks like when applied.
Here is a pic of the 3 Bf 109Es that I recantly complete for a group build , here on Armorama. The 109 in the artical (Adolf Gallands 109 E-4) is at the top of the picture. I will be sending in more pics of this and others for inclusion, hopefully, in the gallery.

A good wash is essential to bring out the details and panel lines... if you ask me anyway

I usually use acrylics diluted with water and a few drops of dish soap. I've also used a wash made for figues... I think it's called Flesh-wash (pull you mind out of the gutter...haha)

As long as it is applied to a well curred glossy clear coat it will wipe right off. Good Luck!
