The P-38 is my favourite fighter of WWII. It has beautiful lines and was quite deadly to the enemy.
I'm always happy when another one is found and hope that it can be restored but the Brits.

It is interesting to me that things can become completely forgotten about in under 60 yrs. I suppose that will be how easy it would be to return to the dark ages also.
