As a few of us have bought the Eduard Bf-110E, and having nothing better to do, I thought I would start mine.
Starting in the cockpit as usual, the build sequence is pretty logical, but the parts are numerous and tiny. The detail is pretty good though and well worth the effort.
I have been using WEM Colourcoats Luftwaffe paints for the interior, RLM 02 for most of it.
This is definitely not going to be a speed build as the cockpit and rear gunner station has taken me two days, two days for sake, I could have built a kit by now .
Anyhoo, here are some pics,
Comments welcome.

Moving onto the forward gun-bay presents a couple of fit issues. The floor of the gun-bay fits into two slots inside the nose cone, but there is a big gap either side, which if left makes it impossible to fit the nose onto the front of the fuselage. A set of clamps squeezes it all together for a better fit. I also cut of the "lip" that runs around the inside of the nose so it fits flush. The whole nose section is a pain to fit "true" without leaving gaps, so some filler and sanding will be necessary .
The fuselage is now together and a little seam work is required. The fuselage is a little tricky to put together, because of the tightness of the cockpit, so dry-fitting several times is a must.
I will be building the wing undercarriage bays and nacelles next.

Very Nice progress Andy!!!
I really like it. I already started mine too but i took a totally different approach starting with the wings. i cut out the leading edge slats and the elevators ... unfortunately my time is very limited at the moment and I have many horses to ride .. err models to build .. so I am enjoying others progress
best wishes

Two days to build the interior. It takes me that long to review the instructions. I am really slow. But it looks very nice.

Nice one Andy!
I'm glad to see you've picked up the baton from my own poor stalled build! But, if you think the "basic" kit's cockpit etc. is complex, I'd better warn you that Eduard have sent through a detail set to help busy it up a bit! Now I'm back at my desk, I'll hope to get a Review of this and some other goodies published very soon.
Seeing as my '110 is so overdue now, I guess I'd better try to incorporate some of the extra details where I can (sadly, I have got quite a few sub-assemblies built, which might preclude adding all the goodies...). And, of course, I can always claim my delay was totally intentional - I just couldn't bear to build the beast without the extras I always knew were in the pipeline!
All the best
Rowan

It is good to hear your excuses since you ar the only person out there slower than me. BTW, I haven't started mine yet because I am waiting for the PE set and the Twin Spinner Campaign.
