Hi Chris
It's been in my stash for many years, but it's so big, I've never had the space to build the beast!
I couldn't find an on-line review, but I did find one brief mention in an article about a conversion that it builds easily, but that you need to check to size and fit of the interior parts to be able to close the fuselage halves successfully.
I think Dave Cox built one a few years back for the Arnhem campaign. There don't seem to be any pics in his gallery anymore, but he might remember some dos and don'ts.
This would be a good kit to review. With Trumpeter's new-mould on the horizon, a look back to what else is available would be very timely, especially as it's so hard to find an online review of Monogram's kit.
All the best
Rowan

Years ago...... to far away to remember and my skill level was low and wouldn't have been able to give constructive comments.

Hi Chris!
I have this kit, too, but It´s still unbuilt.
I have looked down in the box several times and I promise: I WILL build her someday as The DC-3/C-47 are sooo beautiful aeroplanes!
There are some nice build-reviews here;
http://www.modelingmadness.com/reviews/viet/us/garciaac472.htm
http://www.modelingmadness.com/reviews/viet/us/garciaac473.htm
http://www.modelingmadness.com/reviews/viet/us/garciaac47.htm
They are all conversions, but you´ll get a pretty good write-up on the original kit too.
Hope It gives some help!
Cheers!
