I can't find a definative answer to this question. The G-2 was a Zerstorer, havey fighter designed primerily, I believe, to attack bomber formations. So I would gues that the G-2 veriant was not seen in Africa, although most other veriants were. HTH
Are you planning on modelling a particular aircraft, or scheme?
