What shade of red was Richthofen's DR1 425/17 supposed to be, at the time of his passing into "unfortunate" status? Is the MisterKit "Jasta 11 Fokker Red" paint the proper shade, or was the color a brighter shade?

The red seen on verified pieces of fabric has been described as "indian lake red." I use Testors flat insignia red with a mix of Testors orange brown 1166 in the small bottle. The mix ratio is 5-6 parts red with 1-2 parts brown.
