True so true. Some of the fellows I've spoken with at Fighter Rebuilders have mentioned that searching for old aircraft can be quite an adventure, in many ways. It is sometimes strange what countries/governments may consider to be a "National Treasure". Ergo some associates of mine are still searching for the canopy rails for a VAL, they know where a couple Vals are but aren't allowed to remove them do to government issues.
P.S. Please don't get me wrong it's the right of others (countries/governments) to deem items their "National Treasure", it just make things difficult at times.
