Here are some pics of a rare (for me at least) Japanese plane the 1/48 scale Otaki Ki-100.
The model was built O.O.B. except for its markings which are for a Ki-61, the kits decals looked suspect so they were not used which makes my model more of a what-if type than a 'real' aircraft.
Paints used were Model Master enamels over a base coat of Alclad II.

Les,

Great looking plane. The Japanese aircraft have (I think) very graceful lines and I always like seeing them posted here. Did the kit give you any problems?

The kit was not too bad to build but I had some pretty big gaps to fill at the wing roots and the wheels had some deep injector pin marks to fill. The cockpit was not very good either, but it IS an older kit and for its age its rather nice. I have seen much worse!
