:-) Well at last I have managed to finish my Hs123. The kit is by ESCI and is pretty old and I have been building it for years. It is 1/48 scale and painted with Xtracolor paints, decals are from the kit and caused me a few proplems but I was able to beat them into submission. The only enhancements are; Re-scribed panel lines, PE seat belts, stretched sprue rigging (between the "N" struts), drilled out gun barrels and antenna wires from invisable thread.
The top wing, when fitted has a 2mm+ gap at the centre, over the "N" struts. This was fairly easy to overcome with the use of gap filling CA . Problem was that the "N" struts were very slightly misaligned. This ment that after fixed the rigging, it would loosen when the struts were in their correct position on the top wing. The solution for this was just to attach the rigging to the fuselage, leaving the other end floating. It is very difficult to get a look so that you would ever know. The antenna wires took me all day to get done with numerouse attempts, I though I was going to loose the light source for my "studio". This is not the best model I have ever built, partly due to the fact it was started so long ago, when my skills weren't what they are now. I do inted to build another, this time using Amtechs detail set, with un-spated gear legs :-)

Really impressive Holdfast. Another beauty to add to your collection. I think its great that you are finishing up older projects. I dont know much about aircraft but these are excellent as far as I am concerned. Good work!

HHHOOOOWWWWLLLLL !
You've done a nice job on this kit mal !
Thank you for explaining us how you "recuperated" !
Another company is due to make a HS123.
hack http://pmms.webace.com.au/newkitnews/newf.htm and brand name : AMTECH
But my guess is that the price is gonna be pretty high !

:-) HHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!
You must have missed this sentence penpen:
Amtech are re-releasing the ESCI kit but with a cockpit detail set and un-spated undercarriage, so I don't think it will be that expensive :-)

That came out very well. I like it a lot. The N brace deal came out fine.
I think you are going to need an addition on your house just for your completed kits.

If I was into plane modelling, you would be my hero.
Luckily for me, I am an armour modeller so you cannot show me up ( I hope)
Awesome work,
Andrew

I thought I was safe as a car modeler. I wouldn't hold any hopes of hiding behind that tank, Andrew.

I don't know, I've had this for years. Amtech are re-issuing it though with a detail set (reviewed on Hyperscale)
