I am working on a 1/32 F-5 based on the Swiss Aerobatic team Patrouille Suisse.

The instructions call out for "Madder Red" and I was just wondering what the equivalent in Model Master Acrylic would be?

Thanks in advance,

After looking at photos and pigment definitions my best guess would be Model Masters Acrylic Guards Red #4632 Madder Red is an old hard to get color, long out of production in any form, according to all the references I could find

Some of the Figure Painters may be able to give you a closer equivalent, as "Madder Red" is reported to be the dye color used for British "Red Coats".

I'm not at all sure if this is the same color you're looking for, but Gunze have a "Red Madder" in their acrylic range (H86) It's a slightly orange red (gloss).

I actually went with Model Master Acryl Guards Red, and it looks beautiful coupled with the white. Awesome color combo, and just all in all a neat looking plane. Soon to be finished might I add. Thanks again guys!!!!!
