Hi everyone and happy new year. I'm a noob on this site although I've been on Armorama for a while now. I have a quick question
I have the Italeri kit of the UH-60A "Desert Hawk", although I have a suspicion that this is not the correct name for the designation. I know the UH-60 is a Black Hawk, so is the Desert Hawk just a Black Hawk with a different paint job or is it a different machine?
I just want to make sure that if I go hunting for reference pics, I look in the right places.

Yup, a misnomer by Italeri. It is simply a standard UH-60A Blackhawk painted sand, which only a few were painted that way for ODS ('90-'91).

Thanks Gino, this question was actually a tag -along from the thread about Blackhawks on Armorama but I thought this would be a better place to put it.
I appreciate that - thanks again.
