Looks good Jim. I have that one in my stash to build. Is there anything I need to watch out for in the build?

Thank you for the kind words..as far as pics go Ill have to borrow a digital camera again to do so...but I will post more pics..I have one on DISC of the cockpit..id like to get one or 2 of the engine as I used the Windsock datafile to wire it completely, including the alternator,et al.
The cockpit shot has been magnified nicely to show the work I did on the pilots seat.As per the Windsock Datafile I opened the lightening holes and thinned it to an approximate scale thickness. I just have to figure out how to upload the disc now ..
It really was a straightforward build as far as I remember, not a hairpuller at all. I do remember sweating a bit to make sure the struts for the tailplane fit properly and at correct angle into the main wings.
The number of main wingstruts intimidated me as this was my 3rd biplane ever to build, but I built a jig and everything went smooth as glass.
The guns were ok,but I had some left from the Sopwith Baby that I stole for the project...one has snapped off in front of the pilots seat, and I have yet to re-affix it as I am extremely lazy.
The tricycle landing gear is white metal castings,so will require straightening probably...mine did ....once again alignment is important.

Hi Jim!

Great model!

Below is the picture you wanted to show on your previous post...

I've purchased this kit some years ago because the FE2B was the first aircraft flown by Biggles!

Thank you for your help and kind words. The Fee is one of my favorite airframes..I have a scratchbuilt 1:72 Fee on my workbench now I have pushmolded the fuselage tub and added the stitching. I am currently working on ribbing the wings.Engine, guns, wheels, prop are all waiting on my procrastination.I hope I can pull this one off convincingly

hi there , i love the build , you did a great job . the fee's are one of the much overlooked aircraft of the great war , doing stirling service right up to the armistice . commonly considered obsolete , they were in fact doughty , capable bombing machines that would put up a fierce fight when needed . i was considering scratching a 72nd one myself but have managed to get my mitts on a formaplane vac kit at a recent show . wait till i get it nearly finished , and someone like chorozsy or ardpol will bring one out in resin or even a nice injected version by roden would be nice ( hint hint !) ah well , i can dream . too many subjects , not enough time . . . roll on retirement . tally ho ginger !
