I've just ordered the Academy (MRC) 1/35 AH-1T Cobra the one with the gold cobra on the side and was wondering if anyone knows of any AM etch and / or resin also including figures for this kit.

For figures, check out the Helo Crew thread stickied at the top of the Rotary Wing forum.

First off, the kit is actually an AH-1W with the markings from the AH-1T+ demonstrator for the W mods on it. For AM, Cobra Company has a cockpit set and an NTS upgrade for it to bring it to early 2000s standards. I think Verlinden had/has an upgrade set for it as well.

If you can find them, Two Bobs Aviation Graphics had a great decal set for it as well. Unfortunately, they are out of production though.

Good luck.

Eduard has three sets: one for the interior, one for the exterior and one for the armaments, all for Academy's "whiskey-cobra".
Since the "tango" and the "whiskey" are the same you could use them.

Thanks Klaus I think I'll go with the exterior set and the Cobra Co resin cockpit if I can find a stockist in the UK.
