The 1951 film "No Highway in the Sky," starring Jimmy Stewart and based on a Nevil Shute novel, centered around a fictitious airliner, the "Reindeer," built by "Rutland Aircraft." Apparently a full-scale Reindeer prop was built for the movie, converted from a Handley Page Hermes. I am looking for a photo of this "aircraft" which I recall seeing in an old issue of Aircraft Illustrated, but I can't remember the issue in which it appeared and no longer have my collection of the magazine. If anyone out there has a comprehensive collection of Aircraft Illustrated and would be willing to find this photo, scan it, and email me a copy, I would appreciate it very much. Any other information on this subject would also be appreciated.
