Guys I want to build a QF-4B in 1/144 now the only F-4's in 1/144 are an F-4E/J or F-4F.
What are the visable differences between the F-4E and QF-4B that would need to be ammended?
Any help appricated.
Ciao

Difference between F-4E & QF-4B & QF-4N (the 4B & 4N are the same apert from some interal mods)
apart from the nose (and interal) the main difference is the wing the 4E has a thicker wing for the wider wheels
This may help

I think Trumpeter or a side company of them does an F-4 Navy model. I didn't see it myself but saw the box. Probably J or S. On the other hand Café Reo had a model release of an F-4S in 1/144 a few years back but HLJ says that it is OOP. One other chance is trying the prepainted companies like Café Reo, Takara or F-Toys. They may have F-4B/N/J or S kits. They are generaly pretty detailed. if you strip down the paint, you probably have a nice kit.
