Does anyone make this in 1/48 scale? Its called a Armstrong Whitworth Albemarle and its a twin engined transport that flew with the R.A.F. in WW2.
Thanks!

I'm sorry, i've never heard of it.
For some rather rare british aircraft, you might end up having no other choice than airfix 1/72nd scale kits (yuk yuk...).

For such an obscure aircraft you're only going to find them in vac-form or resin. There are so many "one man band" companys, which often come and go, that its like looking for rocking horse manure. It is just possible (with the emphasis on just, based on a vague recollection of seeing one at a show ) that it could have appeared in the Contrail range at one time. If so, it would be long OOP.

:-) I seem to remember an article in a magazine, which might have been about the Albemarle, certainly an obscure type. Part one the auther built the masters, part two he got a production copy and built the kit. I'll try and find it, but don't hold your breath :-) It might have been for something completly different anyway, but I'm sure it was contrail.

Pretty darn rare, but like UKGeoff said maybe some unknown company made one some time?
God luck!
