Hi everyone,
in particular Jean-Luc.
My Fujimi P51s' but a broken battered shell.
Unfortunately one of my 2 children got hold of her(I know keep door locked) and she is now much the worse for the encounter.
I managed to salvage some parts, in particular the resin cockpit, but I'm not happy.
So I've had an ale or three ."AA meeting tomorrow'
The silver lining
New kit (to ease the pain) a p40 to be completed in RNZAF colours and I can reuse the resin parts and decals on another 'Stang
BUT IM STILL NOT 100% HAPPY...
maybe it's time to admit defeattand go back to figures...I can put them out of reach

Hi Chris!
Ouch, too bad for the Mustang! Sometimes there are casualties in the hobby I guess. But good luck on the P40... and keep it away from the children this time!
Last week I managed to save a "Judy" and a Vindicator that were already in the hands of my 14 months year old son. Uhhh, that was close...

I have the same problem in regards to four rambunctious cats. Whereas children can reach up and take our prized builds off the shelves, they rarely jump up on the shelves and swat them. One problem I have, that you wont experience with children is cat hair. The last model I built that was Hair-free was about 30 years ago.
I would suggest you go out and get the same kit as soon as possible, and build it again. Kinda like falling off a horse. You got to get right back on it.

Reminds me of an incident, when my son, then not yet a teenager, decided to play basketball in the house. I guess we've gotten over it now, he's going on 37. We at least he's gotten over it.
