I've just started building the Eduard 1/48 kit an I'm thinking of trying to show the cockpit canopy in the open position. Now here's my problem, how did the cockpit open? Did half of it hinge forward like a car door, or was it hinged along the centerline and lift up? I've very little reference on this aircraft and the few photos I have come across all have the canopy closed.

I don't know if you can make open doors on kit.
Try Google images of Bf-108 Taifun, here is what i find.

Many thanks. Now that I know that both sides open it will make cutting the canopy a little easier (I hope!).
