Hi all,
Quick question: What colour is the B52H primed in? The outrigger bays are marked yellow chromate, so the fuse/wings etc may be the same. I want to do some paint chipping so any help with the undercoat colour would be appreciated.
Thanks
Stuart

The undercoating is yellow chromate pretty much everywhere. As far as the paint chipping the ground crews are pretty good at keeping them touched up. As old as those planes are you don't want anything corroding.

So a couple of mild little bits here and there? Or not really anything? Having checked the USAF website, there appears to be no scratches or chips at all, so I think maybe this is the realistic option...
