This is my Academy Spitfire Mk. XIV. Decals are by Aeromaster depicting a SEAC machine stationed in Kuala Lampur in 1946. I had the tailwheel doors incorrectly installed, and have corrected them since these photos were taken. Good fit, a decent build. I chose minimal weathering. I hear this kit has shape problems, but it looks like a Griffon Spit to me.

how did you find the kit? I have been thinking about getting one eventually, but haven't committed to it yet.

I actually bought mine from a fellow that was thinning his collection down. But I would think they aren't too hard to find on Ebay or hows/swap meets.
