I know what you mean about only using time on good kits, Nige. Unfortunently sometimes one gets the urge to buy some of the old stuff to sit and fiddle with it. This feeling often quickly disappears once you get started and kits can suddenly jump back into stash by themselves

I will look forward to see more when you start up your "new" B-17.

Hi Jesper.
Its a lot of fun working on the old kits generally, in fact, at the moment Im doing the very old Airfix Supermarine S6B for the "tweeners" campaign. Also had a very enjoyable couple of weeks getting the Airfix Tiger Moth together, a kit which some people,,mention no names, are scared stiff of attempting,,Mal ( you didnt hear that,,LOL)., but that B17 from Revell is just a truely horrible lump of plastic.
Guess what the postman bought today?,, a shiny new Academy B17F
Back to the bench for me,,keep cutting those circles Mal,,
Circles,,, whoops,,given the game away now
