P-38J control panel covers.........Were they made out of a canvas type material that covered the instrument panel? Some photos it seems that way.
I need to know what the control panel cover would look like if viewing the P-38 from outside, but in flight.....
Any suggestions/photos/refs would be grafefull reveived.
This is for a painting project and not a model, so hope it's okay to ask this here.

Hmmmmm, check out uscockpits.com. Lots of pics of older and new cockpits and panels in it.
