This is Hasegawa's 1/48 A-7E Corsair II. I did a fair amount of work in the cockpit but the rest of the model was pretty much OOB. Decals are SuperScale. This model depicts an A-7 during the mid 80's hence the white AIM-9's. This one took a lot of filling around the intake and where the wing met the fuselage. Hasegawa got the intake and canopy profile a little wrong, but nowhere nearly as badly as Trumpeter did. It was going to be too much work to fix it and since it was not that far off I decided to leave it alone.
Fire away!

I like it a lot. Very subtle color differences bring the monochrome color scheme a bit more life. What did you use for the RBF tags?

Thanks! The RBF flags were made on the computer using PhotoShop and then printed using PowerPoint.

It's Hasegawa's 1/48 A-7E. I will probably get Trumpeter's 1/32 one eventually.
