I wonder what Roden has up their sleeve? I see a SPAD VII and two versions of the Albatros in 1/32 as well as the DH 9 in 1/48 on their website. Is that all there is? I'm not complaining, mind you.

I'll build the Fokker D.VIIF Herman Göring just so I can destroy it later. I'll build Göring in the cockpit and have his nazi-a$$ go down in flames. His charred remains will be left to burn in hell.

See, not only is modeling fun, it relieves tension, and makes me feel all better again.

Greetings Jeff;
Sizzle sizzle wonk! Just remember this was before HG began consuming whole bakeries and wearing ballerina tutu's. I can't knock Eduard for choosing it. Roden has done this scheme and has Revell and others. Simple easy and cheap to do the decals. I just won't ever build that scheme. I wouldn't build HG's Albies either. Though I do have this very cool shot of his real Alb. D.III wingless, after he was hit by antiaircraft. He evidently managed to get it down safely that day. Dash it all.

As for Eduard DVII's don't forget the Accurate Miniatures boxing that is on the way as well. Anyone know what decal options they are going with for that one? I'm hoping something postwar.

I think it's a trade between Eduard/AM for Eduard is using AM's P-51B which they are releasing soon as a special boxing.

Edit: i just found out, the AM Fokkers look like being 3 of Goerings (again) aircraft, Willi Gabriels (again). Seems a bit of a wasted opportunity when they've already been done?

That depends on their cost. I need some spare 1/48 Fokker D.VII parts for my diorama

Seems like a waste to me also; would have been better to do Heldmans Jasta 10 bird with the checkered tail, or any of the myriad of available schemes even for early model DVIIs. JMHO,

Eduard Fokker Dr.I/F.1 Dual Combo 48 Q2 2008 - Check.
Eduard Sopwith Camel Weekend 48 Q4 2008 - Check. Guess they meant Q2.
Eduard Spad XIII 48 Q3 2008 - September release for the 1/48 SPAD XIII from Eduard. It is also mentioned in the August (Czech language) newsletter on Eduards' site.

Eduard already did this in a number of different boxings and limited editions. Unlikely that they will release it again.

Cheers,
