Does anyone make a cheap kit of this aircraft either in 1/48 or 1/72? Thanks in advance.

Hi Chip!
It depends on what you mean by "cheap"
There is a 1:72 scale Fouga Magister by Heller (kit n° 80220). It is an old and cheap model in every aspect I think...
There is a 1:48 scale Fouga Magister by Fonderie Miniature (kit n° 6011). It is very cheap in quality but not for the price!
I would recommend the Heller kit if you like vintage models and don't mind doing some extra work. I would stay away from the FM kit though since it is pretty expensive and REALLY BAD from what I've read on the French forums.

I built the Airfix 1/72nd kit, lo these many years ago, and IIRC it was a pretty nice little kit. Altho you do get the, typical for the era, Airfix pilots with the amputated legs.
