Would it be possible that a Spitfire could of flown over a P.O.W. Camp at treetop level in the winter? Possibly after gettng into a dogfight?
What other planes could this happened to. I have the material for the hut, but don't know what kind of plane to put in.
Thanks!
~Chip :-)

:-) Hi Chip, it's quite likely that there were no POW camps within a Spitfires range, but this is modelling you can have any scenario you like. What about one of the long range US types, P-51, P-47, P-38? Does the hut have to be part of a POW camp? could it be a guard house somewhere in France? Basically Chip, do what gives you the most pleasure :-)

Mal has said intelligent stuff right here.
I think it depends when : in the 1944 - 1945 winter, spitfires were based in mainland europe, so they might just have overflown POW camps. But, you'll have to do a late model of spitfire (for exemple, Mk IX or XIV).
If you depict a P47 or P51, you won't have that problem because they had "longer legs".
