in the Aircraft Trivia Quiz thread . Jean-Luc Formery
did a "Frankenstein" plane.
It got me thinking there are no book with all aircraft in 3 view profile.
Most web sites dont have view drawings (right side &/or Left side, Top &/or under)
Why dont we start a collection here (with aprovall)
What do you think.

Ooo, sounds like a grand idea , and I'd be all for it - except I doubt the people who run armorama want to deal with all those copy-right laws...
A book of detailed 3-view drawings would be awesome though - break it into volumes by era. Early Aviation, WWI, Golden Age, WWII, Post War, etc.

Hi Fred and Vance
I'm not sure if you'll find everything you might like but I have produced quite a number of 3 view aircraft profiles for the site.
True they are mainly experimental/paper planes but there are a few 'real' aircraft there.
You'll find them in features under aircraft.
And if you fancy having a go yourselves there is a feature on how to produce your own profiles there too.
Cheers
Peter

Its the research that hurts. But here are a bunch of aircraft blueprints. Most scale studies to date are wrong. Especially the Bf 109.
