Well,

Here I am in for a boring 12 shift sat by the phone waiting for calls that won't come. I thought I would pull something small out of the stash and see how foar I can get with it tonight to try and make my shift go quicker.

This is what I found:-

I will post pictures as when (if0 I make any progress. So, Windtalkers on the TV, cold Coke to hand, let battle commence.

Update time

Cockpit built and painted. Very good level of detail for a small cheap kit.

Wings assembled and ancilleries done.

Close up of wing assembly. Level of detail and fit is exceptional

I slightly regret picking this kit now as it deserves more attention than I am giving it. For such a cheap kit the level of detail and fit is really very good. It only cost me £3 so I will go and get another one and spend much more time on it.

Sorry for the crap photo quality, only have my camera phone and poor office lighting. Still, I am supposed to be at work!

More soon.

Last update for tonight

Everything put together, seams sanded and ready for primer

All in all, a very nice small kit. Fit of all parts is excellent, no filler required at all. A little bit of flash needed removing but nothing serious. No ejector pin or sink marks anywhere prominant. It went together quicker than I anticipated, just need to throw paint at it which I will do when I get up today.

Hi,

Not sure what scheme yet but will have to choose today as thats when it gets painted! Will post as soon as I decide.

Modelling at work is cool, really makes the time go quick. I can only get away with it on a Sunday night though because thats the only time I'm on my own. And I only work one in every four so its not that great a perk!!
