Hi Mate, built the AC-130 version a long time ago,if my memory serves me correctly it`s just their 1/72 version scaled up.It does go together very easily but is woefully lacking in any interior detail,so be prepared to do a lot of research and scratchbuilding, it will be worth it in the end because with the ramp down it does look cool.

i started makeing the c-130 gunship in 1:48 , it definately needs alot of interior work (it does come with a mop and broom . ??? ) , but the fit is prety good if i remember correctly (as i have a stack of 1:35 tanks and 5 ton trucks to build before i finish it ) just remember to weigh down the front !
i made the 1:72 model and it was horrible .the fit sucks on the fuselage and the cockpit ,and the props break easily .i hope the 1:48 fits together better .i was able to put a 1:72 huey inside ,lessens some detail to put insinde

The 1/48th cargo C-130 is pretty good and has decent interior detailing. The AC-130 is great on the exterior and has some interior details, but as stated above, it needs lots of work to fit out the interior. I have built both. They go together well and look pretty impressive when done. I hope you have lots of room for it, it is huge; about a 3 foot wingspan.
