Hi all,

My little brother has just started off in the hobby so don't be too harsh on him! He is 6 years old and has been modelling for 6 months. That's 1/12 of his life! Although I tried to get him into figure modelling, he just loves aircraft so I guess I will have to brush up on my skills in order to teach him to model these 'wingy things'.

His next project (with a little help this time).

Regards,
Chas

Looking good their little bro
Cant go wrong starting with the Airfix Spitfire!,,and the Tiger Moth for a 2nd kit!
I know people many times older than you who wont attempt that one, and it looks like your putting them to shame!
The control tower lurking in the background looks good, but I suspect big brother had a big hand in that one.
How about a close up of it?
Looking forward to seeing more

The Spitfire looks like a fine beginning.

The Moth looks Plumb and Square awaiting landing gear. . . Model On Gentlemen!

My brother thanks everyone for their comments. Unfortunately, while playing with his half-finished Tiger Moth, the top wing 'mysteriously' snapped off! Without me knowing, he attempted to fix it and cover it with a coat of blue paint. Naughty boys will be boys.

Regards,
Chas

(and no, I'm not using my little brother to cover for my own efforts)!

A good start and it seems like he has ingenuity as well covering up the battle damage to the aircraft

Good luck with future projects

I'm 50 years old and I still break off the upper wings of my aircraft. Usually, when I am playing with them. Cover it with blue paint? See we are never to old to learn something new.
