Hi everyone, after recently finishing my 109 I am going to start the Eduard Hellcat Sharkmouth as my next kit. Being new to planes I don't have any allied paint colours yet. I am wondering if anyone can help me with the colours for the hellcat - both interior(the cockpit green) and the two exterior blues. The instructions have the colours for gunze/mr hobby but I have better access to Tamiya acrylics (pref) or model master enamels.
Can anyone advise the Tamiya paints to use or, if a mix is required what the colours and ratios are?
Kind Regards

Hi Anthony
I don't use them myself, so I can't vouch for their accuracy, but I've found the following suggestions for Tamiya paint matches:
Sea Blue - XF-17
Intermediate Blue - XF-18
Interior Green - 2 parts XF3 to 1 part XF-5
All the best

Hi Anthony
It's coming on - I'm partway through painting the basic camo, but trying to catch up with writing Reviews has kept me away from the workbench. I hope to get a chance to do a bit more to the Hellcat this afternoon.
All the best
Rowan
