Hi all.
I like many of us modelers find that online stores are a great way to find that kit or accessories im looking for.
I currently buy a lot of my kits ect from www.hannants.co.uk and have always had good service from them but iv found things online that they don't stock . Im always on the lookout for new websites and stores and was wondering what is the best out there ???

Hi Dave
I've used Lucky Models, Roll Models, Hannants, Great Models Webstore and Squadron and always had good experiences with them all.
Obviously, I always try to support Aeroscale's advertisers where I can. Another consideration for me is that it really depends what I'm looking for - and the current exchange rates. When buying abroad I always check HLJ for Japanese kits - even taking P&P into account, their prices (for Tamiya in particular) are often a lot lower than UK imports. Modelimex is an excellent source for Eastern European kits and accessories.
Nearer to home, I bought my last batch of kits from Model Hobbies - they have a handy discount on most items and I found the service was excellent, with my order progress updated by e-mail and very prompt delivery.
All the best

I've got a question about Lucky Model, when they give you the price inclusive of the shipping... Does it remain the same price and does your package arrive at your doorstep?

I use Military Precision a lot, a good range of stuff, cheaper than Hannants and usually deliver next day. They also advertise on here.

MP are very good, not only are deliveries quick, you get email confirmation of status of order etc. It's my first port of call.
