HI DAVE, THE FIRST QUESTION IS IF YOU OWN A DREMEL ( OR OTHER ) MOTOR TOOL? IF YOU DO, THEN YOU CAN GRIND AWAY FROM THE INSIDE OF THE PART TO BE DAMAGED UNTIL IT IS PAPER THIN. BE CAREFUL AND GO SLOWLY. THEN YOU CAN USE A SHARP HOBBY KNIFE TO TEAR HOLES IN THE PART. FOR BULLET HOLES YOU CAN USE A STRAIGHT PIN TO PUNCH A HOLE FROM THE OUTSIDE. YOU CAN LOOK AT PHOTOS OF DAMAGED AIRCRAFT TO GET AN IDEA OF HOW BADLY SHOT UP YOU WANT YOUR PLANE TO BE. INTERNAL STRUCTURE CAN BE MADE UP OF BITS AND PIECES. THE LARGER YOUR AREA OF DAMAGE THE MORE INTERNAL DETAIL THAT WILL SHOW.PLAN YOUR DAMAGE AHEAD OF TIME . WILL IT BE VISIBLE ONLY FROM THE OUTSIDE? OR CAN IT BE SEEN THROUGH A WAIST GUNNER'S POSITION FOR EXAMPLE? THE WINGS AND TAIL SURFACES ARE THE EASIEST TO DAMAGE, THE FUSELAGE OR ENGINE COWLINGS GET A LITTLE MORE COMPLICATED. ONE LAST THING TO BE AWARE OF IS WHETHER THE AREA TO BE DAMAGED IS MADE OF METAL , WOOD, OR CLOTH, THE DAMAGE WILL LOOK DIFFERENT FOR EACH. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU A LITTLE, GOOD LUCK. I HOPE TO SEE THE RESULTS OF YOUR WORK ON THIS SITE SOON.
