Nice stuff. How did you make the white knobs for the switches?

Very nice stuff indeed Jose. I too would greatly appreciate it if you could put some description of your efforts to go with the photographs. Looking forward to more of your post.

Hello ro all, and thanks for the comments!

The knobs were made with blobs of white glue.

Here are some pics of the pit before i close the fuselage:

Hi Jose,

Good looking Myrt you have started there. I look forward to your progress.

Some 30 years ago I had Tamiya's 1/50 Saiun. It had a full interior and the option to build it with clear fuselage and wing parts. I still have parts from it. I do not know how accurate it was / is, but it was one of those model-toy kits. A few years ago I remembered it and after a long search, found one on 'embezzel-Bay', and snared it. Then Hasegawa released their series! I will still build the Tamiya for the sake of nostaligia, but can't wait to build the modern kit.

Hi José!

Looks great! The shading you've achieved is fantastic. What brand of paint did you use?

Hello jean-Luc!

Congrats on your Zeros, they look amazing!

The paints used were Vallejo Model air. I´m trying them, and i like them very much!

Awsome work Jose'!
That cockpit is sweet and the paint is flawless. One question, did you drill out the rivets on the wings or is the kit already that way? It looks great all around.
I've noticed that all the people who joined Aeroscale at the same time as me have far surpassed my skills now and you are one of them. At this point I'm having more fun looking at everyones builds than I am in building my own.

Great work Jose'!

Jose:

The pre shading effect is excellent. I agree with the other comments on the quality of the paint work.

Beautiful! Wonderful work from stem to stern- the interior is very nice, and the weathering is subtle and realistic. I'm sure this is article-worthy- congrats on a great job- and cheers!

Hi José,

Sorry, it seems I missed this one!

This is a fantastic looking model and I agree with Chuck, it would make into a nice photo feature. Can I use the pictures for Aeroscale?

Hi José,

I just can't stop looking at the pictures.
A superbly built model of one of my all time favourites aircraft.
Wish I could finish mine like yours.

Cheers
Ken
