Here goes my new project!

I decided to take the Hasegawa kit of the pile of boxes, and here it goes!

Nice stuff. How did you make the white knobs for the switches?

The knobs were made with blobs of white glue.

Good looking Myrt you have started there. I look forward to your progress.

Some 30 years ago I had Tamiya's 1/50 Saiun. It had a full interior and the option to build it with clear fuselage and wing parts. I still have parts from it. I do not know how accurate it was / is, but it was one of those model-toy kits. A few years ago I remembered it and after a long search, found one on 'embezzel-Bay', and snared it. Then Hasegawa released their series! I will still build the Tamiya for the sake of nostaligia, but can't wait to build the modern kit.

That cockpit is sweet and the paint is flawless. One question, did you drill out the rivets on the wings or is the kit already that way? It looks great all around.
I've noticed that all the people who joined Aeroscale at the same time as me have far surpassed my skills now and you are one of them. At this point I'm having more fun looking at everyones builds than I am in building my own.

Beautiful! Wonderful work from stem to stern- the interior is very nice, and the weathering is subtle and realistic. I'm sure this is article-worthy- congrats on a great job- and cheers!
