hkshooter ". . .What's "blue max"?"

Was the quetion I was recently asked. Here is a bit of fun on the subject of the "Blue Max" Highest Imperial Prussian award for multiple acts of bravery. It was awarded at the hand of the German Royal family from the house of Hollenzollern.

I thought it was an item one could get hold of after buying very expensive Eduard kits!?

Cheers, Nico

(Who's a bit angry with Eduard for releasing their upcoming Dr.I together with an Albatros D.V AND a mini Blue Max).

I strongly suggest that ANYONE who comes across Neal O'Connor's , Aviation Awards of Imperial Germany in World War I and the Men Who Earned Them: Volume II the awards of the state of Prussia, get it if you can. There are Seven volumes but the second concerns Prussia. There is no other set of biographies that tell you more.
