So far been working 5months on the kit, have scratch built the bomb bay, made 21, 1000lbs bombs from from flightpaths tornado, 3 scratch built bomb craddles, prototypes, need to make some new, parachute bay, air brakes, new refueling probe out of brass due to snapping original, ecm bay, smoothed air intakes, flightpaths detailing set. Still more to do with airbrushing the model and generally tidying up, aribrakes will be finished when model is painted.
Photos are of work that has been done.
Does anyone know of any where to get new wheels or whole undercarriage the airfix wheels are bad?

Hi Peter.
I dont envy you spending 5 months on this kit. Definately above and beyond!
What youve achieved so far looks fantastic.
Sorry Im not able to point you in the direction of replacement undercarriage.
Andy Brazier built this kit a few months ago and as far as Im aware is still receiving therapy!

Ended up buying another, to use the undercarriage, and will make another Vulcan but in a different scheme, not as much detail tho. Got a valiant and victor after lol. Been enjoying it, plans for a bomb bay in the valiant as well.

The second vulcan i have brought is even worse than the one i've been working on, the undercarriage is okay, but the air intakes are even worse, lots of filling and sanding again. but will look going to have one in camo and one in anti flash.

have i bitten off more than i can chew???? the end is ni, nearly there with these two, and am happy so far, perhaps the 5 months on the first model is a bit excessive but have enjoyed it and look forward to completing these, and starting the valiant build, including building the bomb bay.

Looking very good Peter, and they are going to be great when they are finished. The bomb bay looks excellent.
Keep at it

Vulcans are now ready for airbrushing, but have put them on the back burner and have started the Mach 2 Valiant Kit, so that i can airbrush them all in one go when all complete.
i have to say that the mach 2 kit is terrible, worse than terrible, but i like a challange, started construction of a bomb bay for the valiant having researched and found some photos that i can work to. so going by how long the vulcan took me, october time should be a good target lol.
