In the Flashback kit there is a metal part that looks like a grid 4x3.
The instructions say to place this on the underside between the two bomb doors
There is a photo in windsock 80 of a nosed over british strutter which doesn't have this part.
It is present on some line drawings though.
Any idea what is? And whether it should be there on a French built strutter?
Thanks in advance.

Hi JP,
It's the opening for the vertical bomb storage box. The Strutter with bomb doors had an horizontal bomb storage box.
I hope this helps

Yes thanks Kalt. I knew you guys would come good.
I've done some other digging myself and from a discussion on aerodrome.com it appears that French aircraft used vertical bomb cells and British the bomb bays with doors. Although whether the British aircraft transfered to French hands in the field got converted I don't know. Anyone care to correct this if it is foolish?
