Thats looks really nice mate. I didn't realise Dragon did a 48th JU188. Might have to get hold of one of those myself.

Nice to see something different.

Hi Daniel,

Nice job!

I have this kit and have built the Ju 88, basically the same model. Any tips and problems with this kit?

Thanks Howard and Fred for your comments.

Fred, the kit is very good. It has a very good joint.

I also had the DML Ju-88 G6 in box. Witch Ju-88 did you make?

the kit has a few minor issues, but nothing that can't easily be overcome.

I have built 3 variants of it. the biggest issue is fitting the wingtips - you can get a pretty serious step there. best to put the wingtip halves on the wings halves first then put the wings together. you will have to sand and/or fill the mating surfaces on the leading edge, but this is much better than dealing with a step in the top and bottom of the wing.

The engine nacelles can also take a bit of work, but again, pre-planning and test fitting solve all problems here.

Same story with the canopy.

It is a good kit really, but it has a bit of a reputation for being difficult to deal with that I think is undeserved.

Nice work on this 188 Daniel!

Very nice build. The squiggle camouflage is very well done. The cockpit details are great.

Thanks for sharing
