The cockpit is finally complete. I tossed the kit cockpit consoles and scratch built them The Instrument panel was acceptable but too thick so I thinned it by dragging it across coarse sandpaper to almost paper thinness. The kit cockpit sides were ground smooth and redone as well. The grip on the control stick was fictitious at best so I cut it off and redid it. The seat was simplistic in detail, with a lot of detail omitted so it required a good bit of I-Beam and U-Channel styrene, solder, lead foil and styrene strip to bring it up to snuff.
