Hi Jon
Try these for starters, but I'm sure there are a few more out there in Google-land:
http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/portland/971/Reviews/luftwaffe/bf-109g10.htm
http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/portland/971/Reviews/luftwaffe/bf109g10.htm
http://modelingmadness.com/scotts/axis/luft/me/109/revell109g10preview.htm
http://hsfeatures.com/bf109g10ss_1.htm
By all accounts it's a pretty good kit, if a bit dated in the cockpit department. As for painting - there are so many different schemes out there for this version of the 109, you can really go to town...I have two of these kits in my stash - current planning (which of course can always change!) is to do one as a post-war red and grey Czech Avia S-99 (same as G-10), and one as a machine that was captured in Italy and painted up in RAF camo colours and roundels....A quick look at the huge range of 109G models finished on Hyperscale.com is a good place to start for inspiration!
Good luck, and hope this helps!
cheers Brad

Thanks for the heads up!
I'd forgotten about Hyperscale, as I do mostly armour...
Well, here's the rub, I bought an Airfix ME 109 yellow nose 1/100 pre-painted snap-kit for the g/f's 11 year old, lad (18 parts) & the above Revell kit for me (!)
'We' built the airfix kit in an hour, so now it's my turn...
This will be my 2nd a/c in in 30 years(!) so who's got the painting luftwaffe colours 101 for tankies?

Thanks for the heads up Greg
I'd forgotten about Hyperscale, as I do mostly armour... though the Tomasz Czeblakow's paint scheme looks simple enough...

Good choice of kit. I have the same kit in my stash, but I have not had time to build it yet.
HERE you can see a lot of different colour schemes for the ME 109 G10.
Hope this helps.....
