Looks nice. I have also been tempted by this kit. Simply because the aircraft is so uniquely looking (other way to say ungly in a good way )
Looking forward to see more
PS. Your pictures show besides each other in the tread instead of underneth each other. This makes it a little difficult to view them.

Hi Dennis, really like what you've done with the Sea Venom. especially the seats.
I also see you whent for the same aproach I did for the engine, lots of wire to really bring it to life.
what scale is your kit? I'm building the revell 1/32 scale one. that wounderfull bracket that sits over the half way mark of the engine? did you scratch build it?
also
I've hit a slight problem, whilst waighting the nose, the glue I used melted it. any ideas?
cheers
Mark

Hi Mark
The bracket over the engine is scratch built and it is the Revell/Matchbox 1/32 kit.I don't know how bad the nose has melted on yours. If it's not too bad just fill and sand it back to shape.I used modelling clay (Plasticene) to weigh mine down. Thanks for the commentsand good luck with yours.

Lovely job Dennis! I take it you scratchbuilt the seats? If so then I'm very impressed.

Fine build mate. What colour match did you use on the Suez stripes [yellow]?

Sorry I've not noticed these two comments until now but to answer your questions.
Peter the yellow is bog standard Humbrol trainer yellow faded with a good rubbing of white pastel chalk.
Murdo the seats were built of plastic card bits of rod, various amounts of solder, wire and masking tape approx 65 parts to each seat.
Glad you like the model. I enjoyed building it.
