Gents,
Over the next year or so I'd like to build a P47 Razorback in a natural metal finish(most that I've seen, seem to to be Olive drab)Any references ideas etc etc or even kits that suit the bill in either 1/72 or 1/48 scale would be appreciated.

TIA
Chris

The Tamiya kit is a great choice for a natural metal finish. In either 1/72 or 1/48. It is very well detailed and the fit is of course excellent.

Hi Chris.
Id definately recommend the Tamiya Razorback as Matt suggests. 1/72 or 1/48th its the best Razorback kit on the market without a doubt.
References, ideas etc.
What theatre of WW2 are you looking at here?, NMF Razorbacks were to be found in Europe, the Medditeranean and also the Far East, so plenty of scope.
The first NMF P47 Razorback delivered to the 56FG Zemkes Wolfpack was named Silver Lady

Theres also leading Ace Robert Johnsons "Penrod And Sam"

If you cant decide between a NMF and an Olive Drab Razorback you could always do both, as in this 348thFG example.

Of course, you can always visit Aeroscales very own P-47 Thunderbolt club.
HERE and ask any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them
