Has anyone got a spare wheelspat for a 1/72 P-51C? Mine's fallen on the floor and despite 30 mins of crawling around the floor it seems to have teleported to another dimension......

I think your terminology may be confusing. Aircraft wheel spats:
Which P-51's don't have...Ju87 yes.

I don't have one so can't help you directly. But hows this for an idea?
If there is one for the other side, get some plasiticard of appropriate thickness, this stuff is cheap as chips about 40p for an A4 sheet, and copy it.
If you can lay your hands on some scale drawings or photos so much the better. You might even find the kit parts are wrong!
I'd never done anything like that before but on my do-17 the air intakes were a ridiculous shape so I thought I'll give it go and make some up. It wasn't too hard and my skills are rubbish.
This kind of thing is straightforward. The kit part is sitting out on the wing.

Good ideas eveyone, thanks.
I checked out the Academy UK website and it was terrible! They even have a typo in their displayed web address..very bad indeed.
What is the correct term for the piece I'm talking about? The piece that is attached to the undercarriage leg, and when closed, becomes part of the undercarriage door..................
