P-38L-5,44-25638,"MADU V",431st FS, flown by Capt. Louis DuMontier, April 1945.

This is a built model of Lockheed P-38 L-5 Lightning. Model from 1/48 Hasegawa kits.

Looks very nice- great nmf! Question: didn't the side windows roll down into the nacelle like car windows?

Your right Chuck, they slid down into the nacelle as far as I know.

Beautiful job on the metal finish. I've got to try and duplicate that in 1/32 scale. I hope mine comes out half as good.
