Looking for on-line sources on the "blue" camouflage pattern used on Seafire Mk. IXs and paint references, both hobby and actual. Thanks!

I'm a bit confused here - there's no such critter as a Seafire Mk. IX, although the Seafire F III series looks like a IX on first blush because of the six-stack exhaust pattern and the four-blade prop.
While there's one-off schemes on F III's, the typical scheme was Dark Slate Grey/Dark Sea Grey uppers with Sky or Medium Sea Grey undersides, with the colors laid out in the same pattern as on RAF Spitfires.
I have seen color plates of a Seafire Mk. I or Mk. II in overall dark sea blue though.

I'm no expert but didn't some of the photo recce Spits have an unusual all over 1 color bluish gray (and sometimes a very light pink)? Or do you mean the post war PRU blue finish on some Spits?

The overall blue and pink schemes were RAF schemes for PR Spits, and other aircraft. The Seafire was an FAA kite and I dont think they used them in the PR role.
The FIII was the last operational Merlin engined version to see wartime service. The Griffon powered XV and XVII were too late for hostilities but did appear in a number of different schemes.
